Harold Myron Brill papers, 1930-1946.

Scrapbook, photographs, financial records, Officer's Qualification papers, membership materials, and other papers of Harold Myron Brill. The collection includes Chicago Medical Society membership cards 1938-1941, a copy of Brill's birth certificate, vehicle licenses 1931-1936, life insurance materials 1931-1941, and account statements from Rothschild and Co., stockbrokers, 1930-1933. Also included are Brill's U.S. Navy personnel records (1942 Dec.-1946 July). The collection also contains a scrapbook documenting Brill's service as a surgeon aboard the U.S.S. Lanier P.A. 125 in 1945. The scrapbook is comprised of photos of life on the Lanier, including some photos of surgery on the ship. The scrapbook also contains news clippings (1945), rosters of the crew, and various programs from holidays and special events on the ship, including Passover and Navy dances.
